JOB TYPE: Casual
LOCATION: Based at Avideas (81 Pentex street, Salisbury)

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the creation and set up of installations with utmost safety
Assist in the packing, loading, unloading from truck and set up of event stock
Assist in the returning, unpacking the truck and finalising job system processes
Safe operation of delivery vehicles to transport stock to and from events including correctly stowing and securing items within delivery vehicle, preventing damage and loss
Be able to work individually and as part of a team over varying events and deliveries
Liaise and easily communicate with clients and colleagues
Follow operational timelines and schedules laid out by managers with efficiency
Available for a combination of weekdays, weekends and night shifts
Communicate with clients and/or colleagues
Driving light rigid trucks to a wide variety of locations
Pragmatic approach to problems
Strong sense of integrity
Team player
Always represent Avideas in a professional and courteous manner

SKILLS:

Must be physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy objects
Must have positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within a close team environment
Must be reliable and dependable
Must have valid Drivers License, clean driving record.
Ability to get themselves to and from work
Communicate enthusiastically, confidently, and persuasively
Must be able to work under pressure with excellent problem solving skills
Have high attention to detail and self motivation
Good time management and organisational skills
Organisational and leadership capabilities
Experience in event hire industry ideal but not essential.
